FAQ
- What are your candles made of?
Roundabout Candles are made of all-natural soy wax and fragrances oils free from phthalates and carcinogens. Our wicks are made of cotton, and our jars are made from 100% recycled glass.
- How should I care for my candle?
Make sure you trim your candle to 1/4" before your first burn and before each and every burn after that. This is crucial to extend burn time, ensure correct flame size, and to prevent soot and wick mushrooming. Your first burn is the most important. Burn for at least an hour, or until the wax melts to the edge of the container. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Do not place cork lid on lit candle. Stop using candle when 1/4" of wax remains. Clean out jar and repurpose or recycle.
- Do I really need to trim my wick before each burn?
Yes!! If you don't have a wick trimmer, use scissors or nail clippers.
- What should I do with my jar once the candle is finished?
Break out the leftover wax and remove the wick clip, then clean with soap and hot water. The small jars make excellent votive holders, and the large jars are perfect storage containers if you keep the lid, or they make funky cocktail glasses!
- Do you accept returns?
As a small business, we are unfortunately unable to accept returns.
